Most apps in the category assume you wake up at 5am, journal, meditate, and run — every day. Real people don't live that way. Dayming started from a different bet: people don't need more willpower. They need a system that makes progress feel like play. A solo founder came to us with that conviction — no spec, no screens. Just the idea, and the patience to let us prove it.

The iteration was the product.
When a solo founder comes to us with only an idea, a fixed-scope contract is a trap — they don't yet know what they're building. So we worked the opposite way. We shipped early, rebuilt the gamification when it felt shallow, reshaped AI suggestions when they felt generic, and revisited business logic when users told us what they actually wanted to pay for.
Most agencies bill every change order. We treated iteration as the deliverable.
Task tracker with game mechanics bolted on. Engagement died by day three.
